Cityline Sunnyvale

Cityline Sunnyvale

Clients: J.P. Morgan, Hunter Properties and Sares Regis. Property Type: Mixed Use

Cityline stands as an 8-block mixed-use property at the heart of Downtown Sunnyvale in Silicon Valley with 1M SF of office, 3 luxury apartment complexes and retail throughout. For 8 years, the site sat as an abandoned construction zone until Hunter Properties and Sares Regis undertook the project. J.P. Morgan brought on MDR Consulting to reshape the narrative, brand the property and strategize an integrated go-to-market strategy.

Upon the successful implementation of Cityline’s new branding and narrative across digital channels, as well as on-site enhancements like fence wraps and a meticulously designed marketing/leasing suite, MDR took on the challenge of orchestrating a 'soft launch' for the property. This comprehensive initiative encompassed a dynamic blend of email campaigns, social media engagement, strategic advertising, public relations efforts, and impactful events. Our goal was clear: to position Cityline as the preeminent new downtown destination in the heart of Silicon Valley.

The Soft Launch period spanned across 4 months. During that time MDR conceptualized and produced 5 micro-events, and partnered with Creative Communal to bring Sunnyvale’s first-ever artisan fair. The results proved that Sunnyvale was waiting for engaging events to bring people together. We created an experience, a feeling and a home for the community.

MDR Consulting partnered with Ludlow Kingsley and Weekday Studio for Web, Collateral, Fence Wrap and Marketing Suite Designs and Shimahara Visual for Web Development.
